You know, one of the sweetest things someone can say to you is that they see Jesus, or His light, in you.

I’ve heard those words before, and while they always touched my heart, I didn’t understand how they could be true. How could anyone see God in me when I often felt so far from Him? I couldn’t see what they saw. But God has a way of meeting us where we are, doesn’t He?

Over time, He began to show me the deeper truth. The distance I felt wasn’t about Him pulling away; it was about how I saw myself. I struggled with self-love, self-worth, confidence as His daughter and a broken view of God as my Father that left me wrestling with trust. Piece by piece, He took those broken parts and began to make them whole. In the process, He’s been revealing my purpose and reminding me of how securely I’m rooted in His love.
